The website (http://whiteboard.openoffice.org/bonobo/) explains how it
works.  The new tool is a bridge from Bonobo to UNO (which is the
OpenOffice object protocol) which allows any Bonobo container to embed
the OpenOffice process.  I then presume a small wrapper was written for
Nautilus to use this bridge.

Menu bar merging is on the to do list, btw.
