I run a redhat6.2 box that is using kernel 2.4.1 and glibc 2.2.1 all compiled
from tarballs, and evolution works fine.  The calander has some problems in the
rpm snapshots, but if you download from cvs and compile it works nicely  (i
believe the fix is under 24 hours old)
