[Evolution] Running 0.8 and characters

Hi!
I just downloaded 0.8 release and tried to run it. But... I am working
with nonlatin charset and I see empty spaces or underlines instead of
characters. I suppose this is some kind of Unicode thing playing
tricks on me. How do I fight it?
