[Evolution] How do I delete all contacts?

I have been playing around with importing contacts from a .vcf file
created on my Psion 5mx.  It fails, resulting in hundreds of nonsense
contacts in Evo.

How do I delete *all* contacts?  I tried removing the entire evolution/
directory, but the contacts remain.  Where is the database kept?

obligitory feature request:  allow for range selection when deleting
contacts!
