[Evolution] "Mail Settings" Causes Evo 0.12 Mailer to Crash

Hello All,

I've submitted a bugzilla bug report on this, but I'm not sure that I did
it correctly and so it's possible that on has seen it yet.

In any case, I've attempted to run Evolution for the past month.  I
recently downloaded 0.12 and compiled it by hand.  I've got all the other
libraries and dependencies installed as per the README.  I'm using Gentoo
Linux version 1.0rc5, so the dependencies were built via ebuilds.

But every time that I try to configure my "Mail Settings" (under tools),
the mailer component crashes.  I think what annoys me the most is that I
have no idea where to start in figuring out why this happens, and that's
why I'm appealing to you.
