This might happen if you did not install something like bonobo-dev-0.18.rpm.
In order to run evolution you only need the correct bonobo libraries
to which evolution was linked. But for building Evolution you need
the header files for those libraries, too.
And those are commonly inside a lib<name of library>-dev<version of library>....rpm
At least this is the debian naming convention... dont know if RedHat changed that.
The same applies to orbit and all the other stuff needed for building evolution.
