There is no spec for this.

* Offline IMAP support please? something like Outlook Express
5 would be very nice.

How does this work?

Here we go: an IMAP server has multiple folders. A server has folders.
Each folder has a syncronization option, either "Don't", "Get headers
only" or "get all messages". When mail is collected, this option
declares what happens for each folder: nothing, just the headers are
collected or all of the mails are downloaded. Also, there is an
"offline" mode which will never connect to the server for when the
network connection is not present. You can also perform operations on
an offline IMAP account in OE5 which are batched until the connection is
restored (this is actually part of the spec, AFAIK). OE5 is one of the
few good M$ programs (apart from the scripting thing which everyone
should turn off)
