There was a space before the "."? What POP server is this? (If you
don't know, typing "telnet popservername 110", will give you a
greeting line that might say.)

If you rebuild the POP provider with the line:

        #define d(x)

changed to

        #define d(x) x

in camel/providers/pop3/camel-pop3-store.c, then it will log the
protocol stuff as it sees it, which may also be useful for
debugging...
