[Evolution] AM_CONFIG_HEADER Error

Hi there,

I'm trying to compile evolution of the cvs however, I can't seem to get
past ./configure.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

When running ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc  

I receive the following error.

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
./configure: ./config.log: Permission denied
./configure: 5: Bad file descriptor
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
./configure: ./configure: line 543: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
