[Evolution] Binaries

I second (third? fourth?) the call for testing-class binaries.

I don't have the time at present to dig into the source -- but I can provide
feedback and input into GUI/Layout issues, functionality
tests, effects of new commits, etc.

It would be great to come up with a nice downloadable binary 'snapshot' --
even a weekly rev would be welcome.

I may be able to commit some time to this process, but I can't commit major
resources...
