  Yeah, ~/evolution is the directory where Evolution stores its files.
Currently the shell  is not very smart if  the directory's contents do
not match the expected contents.

  It's  a known  bug,  and is  going  to be  fixed  soon.  Thanks  for
reporting it anyway.  :-)
