[Evolution] Compiling Evolution

Hi there,

I have Evolution 2 running fine, from a RPM. I wanted to look at E 3.0 but when I try to compile it I get the following error.

checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install

any Suggestions.
