#I meant to have a flat background with no lines anywhere. This is how
#netscape mail does it, and I find it easier to read. Maybe it is also
#because I prefer the font netscape uses (can we configure this in
#evolution too?)

Netscape Messenger (win version) shows threads as such I believe with lines drawn like in Evolution
...[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
......[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
.........[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
............[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
...............[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
...[HelixCode stuff]
...[golden monkey]

How about just having
...[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
......[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
......[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
......[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
......[Evolution 0.2 Preview]
...[HelixCode stuff]
...[golden monkey]
...[HelixCode stuff]

If this comes out unformatted then basically instead of hitting 3 levels deep and indenting each
time for each threaded message just going one level deep for all with lines drawn.

Also is the DELETE key going to be "smart"? If one is NOT viewing in threaded mode and sorts based
on FROM....will it skip to Joe's #1 message, Joe's #2, Joe's #3 or will it skip to the next unread
message based upon when received. It'd be cool if the user sorts...threaded or whatever instead of
having to use the down arrow key to navigate and then hitting the Delete Key to advance to the next
message within the list (whichever way sorted) that the Delete key will SAY ...."hit down arrow key
within the list view and delete the message."

Currently I believe hitting the delete key skips to the next unread message based upon when received
or perhaps I'm totally off based.

It seems that as most apps evolve they squeeze more features in limited space and thus shrinkify
icons...basically do more with less screen space. To me it gives it more of a polished look. For
example on Red Hat 6.2 python anaconda that snake's icons are HUGE. I wish they would shrink them a
tad and decrease the line space between the fields so one wouldn't have to scroll so much, etc.

How about saving some screen space in Evolution. I seem to always hide the shortcut bar...either
squeeze it thin perhaps like a slim jim...or how about super-dinky icons (or no icons) along with
text [Inbox, Calendar, Contacts] on the dark grey status bar which current shows which folder you
are in.

And then how about changing the 'display current folder' location to the same light grey bar as
SEARCH is on the far left next to the big X.
