[Evolution] New user setup and existing vCards

I just downloaded and installed Evolution 0.2.  The new user setup 
script worked well, and things seem to be running smoothly.  I 
copied my existing gnomecal vCal file over "~/evolution/local/Calenda
r/calendar.vcf"; however, the addressbook seems to be in database 
format.  How do I incorporate my existing vCards into Evolution 
without reentering the data (or some other piece-meal method)?  Is 
there a script out there to insert the vCards in my GnomeCard file 
into the database?

I know Evolution is far from production-ready, but I would like have 
a bunch of data around to test Evolution in a more realistic manner.
