I doubt that --force is necessary, and recomending it can easily get
people into trouble.  --force can corrupt the integrity of the RPM
Database, wreaking all kinds of havoc when you try to install new
packages, or remove old ones.  If people come back with problems, and
--force is the right solution (--oldpackage or the others won't work)
then please suggest it.  Thanks,
