OK, so I've downloaded the updated gtkhtml-devel RPM, since I had the
"Compose" crash after updating to 0.8.
Start Evo.
Hit "Compose".
Crash.
Close Evo.
Do a killev and an oaf-slay (which only works as root, BTW - is it
supposed to?).
Restart Evo.
Hit "Compose".
Crash.
Reboot.
Start Evo.
Hit "Compose".
Crash.
Is this some sort of a Zen test - "What good is an email client that
won't do email?".
Should I just come back after Evo reaches 1.0?
First I had to track down and install gnome-print-devel, and re-install
gdk-pixbuf-devel before I could install 0.8 at all. Then the "Compose"
error. Then the "fix" - which didn't fix anything, as far as I can see.
So I'm back again to KMail.
