ahh.... not necessarily. there are precedents for ms not requiring the
$x,xxx,xxx.
Remember, for companies like Microsoft, their 'intellectual property'
is part of the equation of the worth of the entire company.
hanging on to "intellectual property" when the consequences are that it
causes such a massive amount of resentment - somehow, i question the
"value" of that "intellectual property".
