CAMEL_DEBUG=all was not needed, I specifically asked for a backtrace,
because it shows place of the crash, while CAMEL_DEBUG things are for
different purposes.

Yep, thanks for the explanation, I saw it spawned a lot of database stuff. 

Anyway, I missed that you get the crash when creating a new folder,
which is fixed by https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=722698

Saw that you answered there on my bugzilla thread, thanks. I will apply that patch
to our build.
 
With respect of compiling with debug symbols, I usually use:
   $ export CFLAGS='-g -O0'
and then
   $ ./configure ... && make && make install
the projects.

Perfect, I supposed something like this would make it, I planned to made a build of evo with debug symbols tonight at home but since
there is already a fix I will just apply the patch. Thanks anyway for the CFLAGS thing.
