[Evolution-hackers] xid and Dfb_id Issue in porting Evolution mail client on DFB

Hi all;

I m porting Evolution mail client on to DirectFB..... which involved Replacing all the X11 calls and Xlib functionality......
Part of it was replacing xid with Dfb_id ...... Is it possible???? are they similar....??

I am new to this.......so cant undersatnd the concept of Dfb_id in Evolution mail client........
can ne one plzz help me in this regard......And give a greater undersanding on the Id concept....??
And if the direct repalcement of Xid with dfb_id will hold valid?
