It might be useful as a base for a possible DBUS interface. We had a look at it and it fails to compile. I'm not sure if it still works with the latest Evolution? There is a function in there that seems useful: evolution_mail_messageiterator_new, which gets a folder and allows to iterate over its contents. However, it seems to be a CORBA method which uses the lower-level C APIs. Unfortunately EPlugin does not expose this functionality. Is it possible to write a DBUS server which links with libevolution and uses its email capabilities. Again, what we would like to do is get a certain folder, and iterate through its messages.
