Hi,
The entry isn't encrypted, it is just base64 encoded. There should be a way to base64 a string from a script somehow, try googling.
The account 'id' is the 'uri' used for the account and is munged so that various things like / are replaced by _, but that should be pretty obvious.

Hi,
I´m just trying to setup a script which sets the evolution passwort for
the access to an exchange server (which is located in the file
.gnome2_private/Evolution) during the login process. Users are
authenticating against an active directory.
In this file the passwort is encyrpted. Where can I find information about
what method is used to encrypt the passwort?
On my testsystem the file looks like:
[Passwords-Exchange]
exchange:__xyz dc acme inc=c3lzdGVt
Thank you in advance
