[evince] evince problem over SSH remote client

Opening a document fails when tried on a remote client ssh shell started 
with -X (xserver capable) option
Following error displayed:

user@server:~/Downloads$ evince mydoc.pdf &
[1] 15707
user@server:~/Downloads$ Failed to get bus connection: Command line 
`dbus-launch --autolaunch=18ed1d16cb4a59591153c6c80000000f 
--binary-syntax --close-stderr' exited with non-zero exit status 1: EOF 
in dbus-launch reading address from bus daemon\n

(evince:15707): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion 
`G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

any workarounds or fix.
both client and server running natty (ubuntu 11.04) setup using hotssh 
(ssh <client> -X)
