Can't input Chinese

Hello,all
I've made a pdf sheet by OpenOffice XML, but I can't input Chinese in evince 2.30.1(Ubuntu 10.4 and installed poppler-data)
Looks like it just ignore Chinese words, I input English and numbers and they displayed very well.
In Adobe reader, It works fine.
