Just tried it again. Mine does not. But maybe I do have an older
version 0.6.0 (stuck with RHELs yum distros which tend to be archaic)
evince --version
Gnome evince 0.6.0

Well, that sure would have been good. Tried it repeatedly. Does not
work. BUt a "reload" Ctrl+R does solve it.
What could be going wrong? Any debug suggestions?
