What is the best way to get evince to open as a larger window by default.
Is there a way to get it to remember the last window size?
It must remember last window size, otherwise you don't use dbus or have
too old version.
I have version 2.20.2-1 on Debian and every time I open a document the evince window is
less than 1/4 screen.
I have dbus 1.1.2-1
It must be a bug then. Check that if you resize the window evince
updates document's and common metadata in ~/.gnome2/evince.
In the ~/.gnome2/evince directory are three files:
evince_toolbar.xml
ev-print-config.xml
print-settings
Non of them appear to have anything to do with a default window size
There must be
/home/shmyrev/.gnome2/evince/ev-metadata.xml
Its absence probably means you have problem with your dbus session.
Dbus seems to be running fine. I deleted evince_toolbar.xml and it recreated it when I
fiddled with the toolbar. I'm running evince under kde - could that be the problem?
