not able to edit urls from history in address bar - v2.16.2

Hello list, 

Though my regular usage of Epiphany for my production work, I am not able
to edit the url in address bar from history. 

Please let me know if this is a known issue and under progress or else
I'll file a bug report of the same. 

Reproduce: 

1. launch epiphany
2. press ctrl+l
3. start typing an address, and watch ulr history drop down
4. select an address from appeared history of matching urls
5. try edit from the same

works with firefox but.
