One of the Debian maintainers replied. He thinks it would be confusing for those 
who have the game installed to rename the package to epiphany-game. He also is a 
big fan of the game and believes that having it named epiphany is a good way of 
making more people discover the game. Although that is true, I still hope Debian 
will rename Epiphany.

But I still wonder: The Epiphany browser is growing in popularity. If Debian 
does not rename it, would the hassle of renaming the browser because of the name
conflict be worthwhile? It would help Debian and Ubuntu users who want to 
install the browser, since I assume most just scroll down to "epiphany" then 
click "Install", not knowing that that package is a game called Epiphany. (Name
conflicts are so rare among open-source programs that that is a safe 
assumption.)
