We should be looking at this article:

It talks about apps moving from GTK+ to QT.  This will be a
significant challenge I feel to counter, and we should really be
thinking about a response to the overall perception that GTK+ is a
dying eco-system and that folks are moving to QT in order to be able
to run in all platform.
