Well that page was redirected 2006 - I suggest to follow development
more closely. If you find a page that still linke to it please rather
change the linking page.

Clearly I didn't make myself understtod, let me try again:

When pages are moved, people have not been changing all the links which
point to them (and since many people link to wiki pages from web pages
and blogs outside live.gnome.org, this is not even possible).

There exists something in MoinMoin callet a #REDIRECT processing
instruction.

When renaming pages, *please* always include a #REDIRECT at the top of
the old address which points to the new address, since otherwise links
break.

In this precise situation, I was looking for a page, and came across 3
broken links. There are others, check http://live.gnome.org/WantedPages
for a list, and http://live.gnome.org/OrphanedPages for pages which are
no longer linked to anywhere.

I dont think thats a good idea. Because every redirect is resulting in
title search results, with the same content. Which makes finding pages
a mess. Otherwise we will end up having thousands or more redirects.

This is a good argument for not changing the structure of the wiki every
six months, just because it's easy. It's not an excuse for breaking old
links which were once valid (perhaps in 2005 or 2006).

This movement of pages happened 2006, not 2008.

There was another reorganisation in 2007. I recall at least 3 such
reorganisations over the past 2/3 years.

Dave.
