About the IGC
The Internet Global Congress is the leading Internet and New
Technologies congress in Spain. Every year the IGC hosts an
international event (IPv6 world meeting in 2005, Internet Society
annual conference in 2004...)
Avoid the ...
. Open Source has become a major topic in the IGC
and they will host the GUADEC 2006 providing top quality
infrastructures and services. More at www.igcweb.net.
replace "and they will host the GUADEC 2006 providing top quality
infrastructure and services."
with "so they are pleased to host GUADEC 2006 with their high-quality
infrastructure."
I'm not really sure if that makes sense in the 'about' paragraph.
However, they seem to have no short description. I used the following,
stolen from
http://europa.eu.int/idabc/en/document/3729/5743
"The Internet Global Congress is the leading Internet and
New Technologies congress in Spain. Organized by the FundaciĆ³ Barcelona
Digital, the Congress comprises a series of conferences addressing a
number of key Information Society themes, and an exhibition (IGC
Village) where delegates can discover the latest ICT products and
services. More at www.igcweb.net."
Yes, that seems appropriate.
