[Ekiga-list] Difficulties with parallel operation of SIP/H.323 applications?

Hello!

I have found a few details for the question "Which programs don't work with Ekiga?"

A few applications are not interoperable so far because there are limitations in 
the exchange of communication addresses. I would like to check if there are also 
more unpleasant technical challenges in the use case for the parallel operation 
of telephony applications.

Is there any fine-tuning needed on the system setting which program will be 
configured as the default VoIP application?

Does an Ekiga installation block the use of other tools like Skype or MSN 
eventually?
