Ok, I'll check my firewall. I did another test today using my notebook and another real machine running windows 7 and got the same result.
After check my firewall I'll tell you the result.

Next, check that your firewall is allowing discovery.
I think the relevant ports are:

-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m udp -p udp --dport 5353 -d 224.0.0.251
-j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m udp -p udp --dport 5060:5099 -j ACCEPT

In any case, it Works for Me™ (albiet with coworkers on the LAN, not
with VirtualBox).
