I ran the command as you suggested, and I have upgraded to Ekiga v3.0.2. Results when I enable my account via account settings, "Could not register(Forbidden)".  Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated.

We have added an option in the upcoming 3.2.

Just use this command :
gconftool-2 -s /apps/ekiga/general/nat/stun_server '' --type=string

Never edit gconf files directly, it won't work.
