I guess she's using the lastest 3.02 from Pateam.org published in the Wiki.

Although it's a great version, directx seems not supported then some webcams
won't show up if they don't declare a WDM driver interface ( my
understanding and experience )

The windows snapshots should come very soon, and hopefully solves this issue (and others)...
