Ah, I see. I used:

 ./configure --prefix=${HOME}/opt/ekiga/ --with-ffmpeg-src-dir=(...)

I probably just happened to have the ODBC devel libraries installed,
so the support for it was enabled automatically. I also had
libsrtp-dev installed, but that failed to compile, so I uninstalled it
to compile opal.
