Yes, appdata-tools from git now shows:- checking for GLIB... no configure: error: Package requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.36.0 gobject-2.0 gthread-2.0) were not met: Requested 'glib-2.0 >= 2.36.0' but version of GLib is 2.32.4 Ubuntu-12.04 has glib-2.32 and Ubuntu-14.04 has glib-2.39. So I'll stay with EasyTAG-2.1.9 until Trusty Tahr appears in April.
Alternatively, you can copy appdata-xml.m4 from appdata-tools into the EasyTAG m4/ directory, as the tools are not required to build (only during the "check" phase).
