Compile error with EasyTAG-2.1.10

Hi
Compiling EasyTAG-2.1.10 or git with 32-bit Ubuntu-12.04.
make gives error message:-
"Makefile:2294: *** missing separator. Stop."

Any idea what's causing this?
(The last time I successfully compiled EasyTAG was from git on Jan 4 2014)
