After a: metaflac --remove-all-tags file.flac Easytag keeps on showing the original tags. This seems to be due to the option "Write ID3 tags in FLAC file" I suppose.
This feature has been removed in git master, as Vorbis comments are rather full-featured now:

Is there an easy way to remove the ID3 tags from a flac file by a commandline instruction? AFAICS the "metaflac" program does not handle these tags.
When saving a FLAC tag, EasyTAG removes the ID3 tag from the file. You can get the same behaviour with an older version of EasyTAG by ensuring that the “Write ID3 tags in FLAC file” option is unselected. Again, saving the tag will trigger the ID3 tag removal.
