Re: EasyTAG 2.1.8: id3v2 Tags for m4a/aac?

Hi Mayk

The project has now moved to gnome.org, so I am forwarding my reply to the new mailing list.

I guess I only have the limited tags from id3v1 enabled for m4a/aac. Will this need some more coding on your
side to get those in, or was my taglib (ubuntu 12.04 ships taglib v1.7) not recent enough? It looked fine
from the configure.log:

EasyTAG from 2.1.8 uses TagLib for support of MP4/AAC files, due to incompatible licensing between EasyTAG and libmp4v2. Unfortunately, only the generic tags are available from the TagLib C API, so unless the C API of TagLib is improved (or there is a library that can replace the functionality of libmp4v2) there is no easy way to get the full set of tags for MP4/AAC files.
