Fwd: What is "Negerpunk"?

I did the famous mistake to send a reply privately. Sorry for that. I
didn't notice until now, since I was away over the weekend, so I'll
just forward the message, which is probably redundant now anyway, but
still…

I'm investigating a bug report that a user filed because easytag lists
a Genre called "Negerpunk" and this apparently is a racist term in
German. A recent thread I saw in the mailing list archive asked about
the Genre list and it was said it was taken straight from the list on
id3.org, but their list is shorter and does not contain this one.
What is the meaning of this term and where does it come from?

I did some searching and found that EasyTag is not alone with this:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_ID3v1-Genres

I don't know if ”Negerpunk” is German, but it is definitely Swedish
(could be both). The translation should be something like punk for (or
maybe by) black people, and it's probably humorously meant. I can't
really say what this comes from. Probably some ”funny” Swedish (or
German?) guy who added it to some list and no one ever bothered to
remove it…
