In fact, there are bits of code for a multi-line comment field already
in the source code (though disabled).

It's usefulness depends on how other tag viewers and music players
handle it.

None of the music programs I use (rhythmbox, beep-media-player,
quod-libet) display the comment field anyway.

The ogginfo tool handles the newlines fine.

What does winamp do with multi-line comment fields?
(You can test this by copy/pasting multi-line text into the comment
field in easytag.)
