Greetings, Philip Troy!
I have run into issues with dia in the past where the resulting diagrams
look "funny" because I cannot make connections between objects where I want
the connections to be.
If these were procedurally generated objects, I can understand it.
For static shapes, you can always clone interesting shapes and add or move
connection points as you wish.
If I remember correctly, dia tends to increase the size of objects when it
needs to to fit text. It would be helpful just to be able to set the size
of the object and to turn off auto-resizing.
Yes, that's one of the issues with current Dia. But also this is an issue with
people trying to write essay inside an action UML block.
I tried creating multi-page objects like those in the uml page and was not
able to. I believe that these were hard coded. It would be very helpful to
be able to build one's own custom shapes that are sophisticated.
These are procedurally generated. Not currently possible by the end user.
Sadly.
