For cool viewing an svg doc, can i suggest sozi ?
It's a piece of js script added to your document that allow some navigation (pan zoom rotate) and transitions.
I'm currently working on it's dia integration, but it already works with inkscape.

Greetings, Cristian Secara!
P.S.
Anyone know a fast and reliable SVG viewer for Windows? Pref. with
text search.
I'm running short of ideas for search query :/
A web browser is not enough ? (except IE) Text search works in Opera,
probably in Firefox too.
Nope. Where I need fast and precise arbitrary positioning, browser offer a lazy
scrolling into given direction. Suitable for a text reading, it makes it
frustrating for a mapping and navigational purposes.
