Thanks a lot for the information. The fact is that I'm using the last
release and I didn't notice that feature, sorry about that.
I've tried it and it works fine. I thought the rotation feature would be
in the contextual menu of the text object and not a single object from
the Objects Menu.
Just to add a new feature or a feature enhancement It would be useful if
all the text in a diagram could be rotated without having to delete it
and create a new object.

Which Dia version do you use? Are you aware of the "Outline" tool? it
allows to draw texts that can be rotated.

Is that what you're trying to do? If not, could you explain you
problem in a little bit more detail? E.g. with an
example diagram?
