On a full install of slackware, the package that script builds won't

Does anyone know where I can find a binary install of dia 0.97 for

Been there, seen that. But it only points to a copy of the source with a
script to build it. You still need to install all of the dependencies before
it will work. I need one that is already compiled with all of the libraries
statically linked so it is plug and play.
Apparently, your idea of a full install and mine don't match. I got this
far with your build script:
-------------------------------------------
checking for intltool >= 0.35.0... ./configure: line 21081:
intltool-update: command not found
found
configure: error: Your intltool is too old. You need intltool 0.35.0 or
later.
-------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, I have no idea how many other pieces will be found missing.
