I guess that you've stumbled across a known bug:

Until we've finally solved the problem, the following might help you:

* Don't compress files when saving
* Open files from Dia instead of opening them from Windows Explorer
* Avoid localized characters in file and directory names. (only use
the letters abcdefghijklmopqrstuvwxy and _ in these names)

If you have problems uncompressing your files manually, you could send
them to me for recovery/decompression.
