gnome repositories over http ...

Hi,

I am trying to get back to Dia development after a sizeable leave of
absence. The best thing to happen during that time is that Gnome
switched to a DVCS (although I would have been happy to see bzr :)

But I am stuck behind an http proxy. The Gnome help pages on git don't
mention if the git repositories are available over http. How do I
clone Dia through an http proxy?
