Doh! I wasn't connecting the objects properly. Seems to be working now. Pass me the lutefisk.

I'm not seeing this. When my plugin looks at a line connecting 2 objects in different layers, only one of the handles is non null for the connecting line. Any ideas?

Yes, they work as normal.  It's merely a question of allowing them to
connect in the first place.
