Observant downloaders may have noticed that 0.96-pre4 got onto gnome.org
yesterday.  It contains a new VDX plugin version and some serious crash
bugs solved.  I have some faith that this could be a final release, we
shall see next Monday if anything turns up.  Pick up the code at
