The fill color does seem to be ignored in favor of the stroke color. I
don't see why that happens. Please file a bug report on that.
Wait, I see it. If the fill: attribute specifies a color, it sticks with
that. If it specifies 'background', it uses the background color from
properties.
PS Just out of curiosity, why does the connector
use an ellipse instead of a circle?
Because I made them from the standard objects, and there's only a circle
there.
I mean ellipse, of course.
